Matt Morris
Founder & Managing Member / Austin
Matt Morris founded Hampton River Partners in 2018. Previously, he focused on public equity investing at Pelorus Jack Capital and Challen Asset Management. Before that, Matt was an Investment Manager at Northgate Capital, a multi-billion-dollar investment firm. He earned an MBA with a Finance emphasis from UCLA Anderson and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Gustaf Håkansson
Partner / Stockholm
Gustaf joined Hampton River as a Partner in 2025. Previously, he was a private investor and ran Acquirers.com, advising operators in the serial-acquirer space. Earlier, he focused on private equity investing at Cubera Private Equity and M&A advisory at Houlihan Lokey. Gustaf holds a Master in Finance from IE Business School and a BSc from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Muskan joined Hampton River in 2023. She focuses on due diligence and portfolio analysis, bringing prior experience from Solomon Gideon Capital and TresVista.
